into the heat and humidity down in south. this is what folks in edgewater, florida, came face-to-face with. the funnel cloud in their windshield there. barely touched down for about 30 seconds. it is unconfirmed that it was a tornado. it sure looks like one right there. about 70 miles away, this just off in the distance there. about 105-mile-per-hour winds there. 150 properties damaged. and one car wash that we were able to tell in the damage report, completely destroyed the building, that was destroyed out of that. at least 13 tornadoes touched down with this powerful blast, all the way through the deep south. look at these around little rock, birmingham, just south of the birmingham area, in jackson there. 13 tornadoes, 46 storm reports from this. this is the arctic front, that southern part of it that brought snow, by the way, all the way from minneapolis, well to dallas. when you look at the pictures we were getting yesterday, you can see the snow's kind of the tires trying to spin. and that snow is more than a foot deep, from wisconsin to minnesota. twitter pictures, coming out of dal
the warehouse on edgewater drive near oakland airport. they seized marijuana plants that produced about 20 to 30 pounds of pot a month. they also took $40,000 cash and two starter pistols. the marijuana activists who run the operation said the authorities could have warned him before they destroyed everything. >> called us and talked to us and said you didn't do something. >> you need permits and you need follow the ordinance itself. that wasn't done. >> police also arrested two men. the man in charge of the pot grow said he plans to post bail for them. >> san francisco nightclub is closing amid allegations of racism. the razz room located inside a hotel has filed a lawsuit accusing the hotel of discriminating against african americans. the suit claims the club's contract was not renewed because the club attracted to many african american customers. the vice president of the hotel said the allegations aren't true. the room will close after new year's, the owners plan to open a new club in january. >>> the california pub like utilities commission has started the process to add a new area code
